Moss Campus Project
| Compass Engineering
was the Site Civil for the new Oregon City School Districts
- Moss Campus Project. This new facility has a 320,600
square foot building on a more than 50-acre site. Compass engineers
developed site-grading plans for the new parking lot that
accommodated approximately 1,000 cars, and also perimeter roads
and new athletic fields. On-site utilities were designed by
Compass Engineering for storm collection and disposal, sanitary
sewer laterals, and domestic and firewater facilities. In addition,
plans were also prepared for the improvements on SE Beavercreek
Road, Glen Oak Road, a new public north-south collector, and
the first segment of the new Meyers Road. |

The Compass Engineering survey department
topographically mapped the entire site, and prepared boundary surveys
for acquired tracts. This site survey was used as the base for the
land use applications, civil drawings, and architectural development.
The Moss Campus
Project was completed in 2003.
Projects for the Oregon City School District in 2004/2005
include renovations to the following schools:
Jackson Stadium and Parking,
Gaffney Elementary, King Elementary, Ogden Middle School, Gardiner
Middle School, Candy Lane Elementary, Park Place Elementary and Moss
Campus Parking Modifications.
